Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is well known that M-ary/spread spectrum (M-ary/SS) system, a method of orthogonal keying, is superior to direct-sequence spread spectrum system with AWGN, and can achieve high spectral efficiency. However if there is carrier frequency offset, its performance deteriorates. In this paper, the effect of carrier frequency offset is analyzed in terms of post-despread spectrum. As a result, it is shown that the spread code with wide post-despread spectrum is tolerant against carrier frequency offset. Then two M-ary/SS systems one with circulant Hadamard matrix, and the other with Sylvester type Hadamard matrix are evaluated from this point of view. The comparison shows that M-ary/SS system with circulant Hadamard matrix is more tolerant against frequency offset than one with Sylvester type.
