Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the traffic properties in a spread unslotted ALOHA system with a fixed packet length embedded with the trunk reservation method is analyzed for multimedia communications in a CDMA distributed local area network environment. The analyzed system model employs a protocol with a monitoring function of the number of simultaneous users and two level transmission priorities. We extend the analysis method for a spread unslotted ALOHA system with a fixed packet length proposed by Yamazato et al. [SST94-98] in the model existing two different priorities' users. The analyzed results shows that we can control the throughput and delay performance by setting the proper threshold values of simultaneous users according to their respective priorities.
