Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Spread spectrum communication systems are well-known as a communication system which provides many advantages. However, the spectral efficiency of a spread spectrum communication system is lower than other communication methods and this is recognized as one of the serious weakness of this communication method. From this point of view,M-ary Spread Spectrum(M-ary, SS)system has proposed to improve its low spectral efficiency and the performance has been studied.Nevertheless, the synchronization method of this system is not given consideration very well. In this paper,we provide a synchronization method which employs concatenated sequences of pseudorandom sequences, and therefore, the performance of the method is examined by the comparison between the method which is suggested before in the other paper.
