Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many methods combining CDMA and FDMA have been proposed£1!.This paper, proposes and investigates overlapped CFDMA(Code Frequency Division Multiple Access) in which total frequency band is divided in to subbands and multiusers communicate wiht CDMA in every subband.By this way,we discuss optimization of the overlapped CFDMA.We direct theoretically that there exists the optimal combination between the number of subbands and the overlapped bandwidth. The optimal designs are derived for channels with only AWGN and with narrow band intrference as well.It is confirmed that the optimal overlapped CFDMA can improve frequency efficiency about two times greater than CDMA in either known or unknown narrow band interference.
