Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To improve traffic condition that degrades seriously with increasing vehicular traffic, inter-vehicle communication systems have developed remarkably in the intelligent transports systems (ITS). Previously, we proposed the inter-vehicle communication network using multicode sense CDMA(MCS/CDMA) in which each user transmits the user's data with common codes. It can provide the packet communication between adjacent vehicles without any reservation scheme. However, the performance is not sufficient due to the multiple access interference (MAI) under heavy traffic load. In this paper, we propose the MCS/CDMA using an M-ary/SS communication scheme. We evaluate its performance via computer simulation and show effectiveness of the proposed system for the inter-vehicle communication system.
