Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For bandpass linear modulation channels, a new envelope control scheme is proposed. It adds compensation pulse to information signal corresponding to input data pattern. We present simple examples of this scheme for QPSK system. Frequency/power trade-off characteristic of this scheme is calculated, and compared to conventional QPSK. In these examples, compensation pulse has same waveform as information pulse, thus both ISI and ICI don't occur. It can improve normalized SNR without degradation of frequency efficiency. Normalized SNR is improved from 0.2 to 0.7 dB when the rolloff factor is from 0.1 to 0.4, and about 0.5 dB when the rolloff factor is from 0.5 to 1.0.
