Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In code division multiple access based on direct sequence spread spectrum technique (DS/ CDMA),spreading sequences play an important role. As spreading sequences, linear feedback shift register (LFSR) sequences have often been used. Recently, on the other hand, several methods have been proposed for generating spreading sequences based on chaos. Such methods enable us to get a lot of spreading sequences whose statistics can be evaluated theoretically. In this article, we discuss theoretical evaluations of distributions of even and odd correlation values of sequences of i.i.d.(independent and identically distributed) binary random variables generated by one-dimensional ergodic maps.
