Combining Array Antenna and Diversity Antenna for Wideband Signals

Abstract(in English) This paper discusses a method of combining an Array Antenna and a Diversity Antenna, which is a signal processing trechnique in the space domain using several antennas. At first, we show the relationships between the antenna element spacing, the resolution of the array antenna and the diversity gain. We define spatial signals and propose a directional diversity algorithm with maximal-ratio combining, which controls the above relationships. We evaluate the proposed method by using computer simulations.
