Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we make a study on a problem increasing the transmission delay occurred by digitalization. Data compression is one of merits for digitalization, however, it causes the increase of a delay. For example, such multimedia data services as audio, and image is permitted of a little delay, while the control data controlling the hand and leg of robot is not permitted of a little delay. We propose the dual coding method for a frequency-band limited system in this paper, by which, the data is permitted of a little delay is required high compression(high delay), while the data is not permitted of a little delay is required low compression(low delay). We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme by the experimental using remote musical performance according to the performance and audience. |
