Abstract(in English) | This paper discusses realization of congestion control for IP telephony services in a next generation network architecture, which consists of an IP bearer network and a call/session control network on it. There are four types of congestion control methods: (1) autonomous congestion control in a next generation control agent (CA), (2) congestion control of a CA from the other CAs by reducing traffic to the congested CA, (3) DoS (denial of service) attack prevention, which keeps CA away from its system failure, and (4)bearer network congestion control. In this paper we show problems in implementing these congestion control, and preliminary evaluation for their solutions. |
