Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report examines the effect of Bluetooth packet types on the media synchronization quality by experiment. Bluetooth specifies many packet types depending on the use of FEC and ARQ so that we can choose the packet type according to the quality of the radio channel. However, the effect of the packet types on media synchronization quality has not been investigated sufficiently. This report assesses the media synchronization quality of the DM1 packet type and that of the DH1 packet type by experiment. In the experiment, stored audio-video streams were transmitted over a Bluetooth LAN access system with simulated DSSS interference.
