Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an autonomous packet routing protocol that provides an intelligent wireless network structure for an inter-vehicle communication system. The proposed algorithm introduces a special classification among mobile terminals and assigns terminals to one of several terminal groups, which are adaptively and autonomously constructed according to the traffic conditions. The proposed algorithm uses the terminal groups to achieve effective routing transmission by conducting relay access among terminals, and achieves a higher rate of successful inter-vehicle transmission. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed algorithm can achieve a higher throughput than an algorithm without the algorithm and is very effective to achieve flexible mobile communication network.
