Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we study efficient packet flooding methods for mobile ad hoc networks. Flooding protocol can be used to deliver a packet to all nodes in the network. In conventional flooding, traffic is increased in the network. In the methods using clustering or MPR(Multipoint Relaying), each terminal is required to periodically deliver control packets at the cost of control complexity and control traffic overhead. We propose efficient packet delivering methods without using control packets. |
