Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Wireless ad hoc networking is getting much attention in wireless communication technologies. Packet radio and wireless circuit connection are used to support wireless multi-hopping, and various information distribution schemes and protocols have been proposed and are partly implemented. There are many challenging research issues, such as how to manage the structure of the network, which may rapidly change by node mobility, how to deliver information to the right destinations, how to discover necessary information and functions. Ad hoc networking can be used in the next generation Internet, and realize various advanced applications. In this context, research progress and technology development are expected. |
