Abstract(in English) | The japanese government has been steadily promoted "e-Japan" action programs in order to become the greatest IT country in the world by the year 2005. This paper presents the following three recent technical trends occurred in Japan; (1) the changes of network environment including the variety of emerging domestic internet access methods, (2) the present condition of mobile communication and the impact of "IMT-2000", (3) the break-through technologies to affect on the mobile communication - MPEG4, Java, personal identification, electronic identification, Bluetooth, non-contact IC card, electronic money and p2p. Lastly, this paper points out the need of the creation of the mobile community culture without generation gap in the near future. |
