Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper evaluates a timing recovery scheme using parallel blind demodulation techniques by hardware experiments. These demodulation techniques have multiple adaptive maximum-likelihood sequence estimators with per-survivor processing (PSP-MLSEs), which output reliability information respective for different sampling timings due to over-sampling. This timing recovery scheme can detect more accurate bit timing than the over-sampling period and can recover the transmission timing. Hardware experiments confirm that this timing recovery scheme achieves low jitter in the presence of intersymbol interference.
