Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses a new adaptive modulation scheme with a fast fading compensator based on space-domain interpolation. We analyze the transmission performances of the adaptive modulation scheme in the case of down-link from the base station to the mobile terminal and up-link from the mobile terminal to the base station. Computer simulation results show the adaptive modulation scheme can improve the packet error rate and throughput performance of the scheme in fast fading environment.
