Abstract(in English) | In this paper, in order to achieve the simultaneous transmission of voice and data in commercial mobile communication, which is needed to promote public interests and to have advanced function, we propose and evaluate "multi-rate transmission". If voice need to be transmitted when channel is occupied with data, we give priority to voice that is required transmission without delay. Data is stored during voice transmission in order to transmit again when voice transmission is finished. With this transmission, we can treat variable data like compressed dynamic image or water-level of rivers in case of disasters as well as storm. The evaluation result shows that loss probability of this proposed method is improved in comparison with that of conventional one that voice and data are assigned to transmission channel separately. |
