Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents performance evaluation of base station antenna arrays with common correlation matrix under asynchronous CDMA systems. The base station antenna arrays are based on the sample matrix inversion(SMI)-type algorithm with a common correlation matrix(CCM-SMI) where the correlation matrix is mutually employed to provide adaptive weights for multiple users and for multiple paths. In the numerical results, it is confirmed that the CCM-SMI has fast weight convergence due to the chip-unit correlation matrix computation Furthermore, it is also verified that the CCM-SMI has good performance even in asynchronous CDMA system.
