Abstract(in English) Based on an official requisition from MPT (existing MPHPT [Ministry of Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications]), the technical group which was organized by the Association of Radio Industries and Businesses had been investigated the mutual frequency interference between IMT-2000 and a MSS in 1999. In this paper, we report on the study regarding the nonlinear interference between CDMA and Mobile Satellite System (MSS). In the theoretical study, we analyze the nonlinear interference using the input level of intercept point (IIP), and show the spectrum spread of Inter Modulation (IM) caused by multiple carriers of CDMA. Using this IIP, we evaluate the nonlinear interference level on the both direction between CDMA and MSS by setting the distance as a variable when a mobile terminal moves to near a base station of the adjacent system and the receiver's total IIP3 (IIP caused by the third order's IM) as a parameter.
