Abstract(in English) Registration procedure, which is based on layer 3 function in mobile IP architecture, could influence smooth hand-over. Many methods to realize fast hand-over are under study in IETF. There seems to be problems about general use, since these methods require that Foreign Agent or mobile station should be equipped with specific function. This paper proposes fast hand-over method using layer 2 function, which is used to establish wireless link.
