| Abstract(in English) | Preparation towards the introduction of 3G mobile systems and services are accelerated in the world. In Japan, such a service is expected to be launched in the spring of 2001 as one of the earliest in the world. This paper reviews the recent status of development of the 3G mobile systems including the operators'plan. It also considers the work items that will need to be pursued in the area of communications quality. |
