Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The networks are getting higher throughput and more heterogeneity, especially on the threshold of backbone and access networks. IP enables these networks connect each other. At the connection, packet size changes in accordance with the technologies under data link layer. IP has the best effort policy and there is no guarantee for route. Then, packet can be fragmented but not defragmented. In that condition, packet size can get only smaller and it is inefficient use of resource. By applying the management technology, we will be able to manage the route. Considering that, we measured the Reachabilities and RTT and examined them.
