| 抄録(和) | 高速かつ多様なモバイルマルチメディア通信の実現のために次世代移動体通信(IMT-2000)のサービスが予定されている。このサービスを支えるために、移動体通信ネットワークを構成するネットワーク装置の故障監視、保守運用を行うオペレーションサポートシステム(OSS)は不可欠である。このOSSではIMT-2000の機能拡充に効果的に対応するためにインタフェースの拡張や機能追加を容易に行えるCORBAを使用した。本論文ではCORBA環境上のイベント配信方法に着目し、CORBA環境で利用可能なNotification Serviceについて性能評価を行い、評価結果からNotification Serviceは配信先数の増加に対して性能劣化が大きいことを示した。またこの原因を分析しPull方式によるイベント配信方法を提案し、提案方式を実相したプロトタイプの性能評価を行い配信性能が向上できたことを示した。 |
| 抄録(英) | IMT-2000 will be put into service to establish high speed and diverse mobile multimedia communications. An operation support system(OSS)is essential to fault monitoring and the maintenance of network elements that comprise mobile communications networks. In constructing the I-OSS for this purpose, we are studying the scalability of the I/F to simplify adding OSS functionalities and proliferating the equipment. We are promoting investigation in which the CORBA is used in the OSS distributed object platform as an effective I-OSS. In this paper, we consider event delivery method adapting CORBA, and evaluated of the performance of Notification Service. Based on the results, we think that Notification Service can be used in this I-OSS event delivery method, but a performance evaluation was further conducted to clarify the efficiency of delivery. So, we checked the part which performance is lacked. We analyzed that cause, and we showed that the PWP scheme can be implemented from the viewpoint of expanding the scale and delivery performance. |
