Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report enhances a media synchronization scheme with the Δ-causality control, which the authors previously proposed, so as to adapt the scheme to the variation in network load. The enhanced scheme adjusts the value of Δ in the Δ-causality control according to network load. The scheme can also change the output timing of media streams by using the Virtual-Time Rendering(VTR)algorithm in order to cope with network delay jitters. For preservation of the fairness among plural terminals, it further performans inter-destination(or group)synchronization control, which adjusts the output timing among the terminals. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the enhanced scheme by carrying out an experiment of a networked shooting game.
