Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new method named as QoS Free so that IP network can meet demands with a certain level of QoS by increasing speeds of both system processing and transmission. Some comparisons between this QoS free method and a conventional traffic shaping or service class control methods are investigated in terms of system cost as well as performance such as packet transmission delay and loss. Furthermore, for a complex model with several routers, similar comparisons between QoS free and MPLS methods are conducted.
