Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A carrier frequency estimaion method for wireless packet communications OFDM system is proposed, which uses a pilot signal with the frequency spectrum characterized by even function and utilizes fact that the multiplication of time signal corresponds to the convolution of frequency spectra. The proposed method can estimate carrier frequency offset over wide frequency range with the presence of symbol timing offset. The computer simulation results show that the proposed method realizes a good performace in the thermal noise and frequency selective fading environments.
