Abstract(in English) An experimental system for remote education was constructed using an asymmetric satellite circuit and terrestrial circuit for interactive multimedia communications. We have carried out the performance evaluation of the system to clarify the quality of the education services and identify issues for further study. Based on these evaluations, subjects for such a multimedia education system are discussed.
