| Abstract(in English) | VoIP (Voice over IP), transmission of voice data over IP networks, is now gaining popularity. Unlike the traditional circuit-switched telephone network, voice quality of VoIP depends heavily on network condition, and the effect of network quality on service quality of user's subjective assessment is not fully analyzed. This paper describes a general purpose traffic measurement tool for IP networks which the authors developed, and discusses subjective assessment result for internet telephony under various network condition set by this tool. |
