| Abstract(in English) | IP telephony system has been paid a great attention because it realizes not only telephony service over IP network, but also next generation multimedia communication infrastructure in near future. IP telephony is its infancy and still has many technical and other issues to be solved for the wide wpread deployment. Technical issues of IP telephony are discussed herer, in terms of IP telephony architecture, realtime voice transport technology over IP network, IP telephony gateway and gatekeeper and their architecture. Standardization activities are briefly shown. Also, enterprise application of IP telephony is shown. |
