Abstract(in English) | It is widely recognized that a forecast of traffic demand is difficult in multiservice networks. Hence, these networks will have flexible architecture, on which network resources are reassigned by real-time control or short-term operation. The operation should be accomplished with statistics, (1) which represents the required QoS performance, and (2)which is easy to be computed and acquired by measurement. In the paper, we propose a method of bandwidth dimensioning based on traffic measurement which guarantees required QoS performance. |
