Abstract(in English) | This paper surveys recent studies and development results of reliable architectures and restoration mechanisms for the ATM network that will become the infrastructure of B-ISDN. Mechanisms include centralized control scheme, APS, SHR, SHN, PNNI scheme and hit-less restoration scheme. Moreover, one of the important objectives of this paper is to clarify the remaining problems that must be solved by future studies. |
