Adaptive estimation of changing delay pdf for intra-media synchronization

Abstract(in English) Each media stream in multimedia systems suffers various degree of delay jitter over networks. Media synchronization technique is used in order to compensate them and to present them 'in sync' at the destination site. A shape of network delay is usually asymmetric, and in this article it is regarded as exponential distribution. Then, the delay pdf is distinguished by two parameters, offset and average, which can be easily estimated by its nature. An adaptive filter which estimates there parameters are shown and a method achieving intra-media synchronization using it is presented.
