| 抄録(和) | IETFで議論されているIntegrated ServicesをATM上で実現する場合の課題の一つとして、RSVPとATM関連プロトコルにおけるリソース確保方式の整合がある。本文では、最初にRSVPのATM関連プロトコルのマッピングを行うことによってATM上でのリソース確保を行う種々の方式についてまとめ、それらの問題点について述べる。次に、これらのマッピングを行わないでATM上でRSVPの制御メッセージを直接精査することによりリソース確保を行う「ダイレクトルックアップ」アーキテクチャを提案し、そのための実現方式について記述する。 |
| 抄録(英) | The cooperation between RSVP and some protocols performed on ATM networks, is one of issues which should be solved to provide Integrated Services discussed in IETF over ATM networks. We describe some schemes which map RSVP into these protocols to reserve resources over ATM networks. However, there are some problems in these schemes. Therefore, we propose the new approach referred to as "Direct Look-up architecture". The approach removes the mapping between these protocols, and investigates control messages of RSVP on ATM networks directly. |
