Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper shows and discusses the throughput performance of the direct sequence spread ALOHA communications system which employs a unified spread code to operate on random access basis. The throughput performance obtained by simulating the system process compares with the performance obtained in conventional pure and slotted ALOHA communications systems. It is found from the quantitative evaluation that the spread ALOHA system provides a signal power saving to realize the same maximum throughput for certain system parameters, compared with the conventional systems.
