End User Networking : QoS Control by User Adaptive Agent

Abstract(in English) The Internet is a distributed wide area network with interoperability and scalability, As the Internet is built by bottom-up approach based on stack of local scheme, it is a kind of dynamic network environment including non-determination and non-formalization. This paper propose the user adaptive agent platform which has not only reactiveness to the dynamic environment, but also deliberativeness with predictive learning for the dynamic environment. Furthermore, we have applied this platform to network QoS(Quality of Service) control of multi-media service. As the result of this trial, autonomous and graceful degradation of QoS demanded by user has been realized, finding compromised QoS value between user's demand and network resource allocation.
