Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes an end-to-end QoS management architecture and a dynamic stream shping mechanism. The QoS architecture has a node-concatenated link topology for achieving symmentric relationships between nodes and applications. The shaping mechanism comprises a code-independent packet header format and a rate control algorithm using the packet header identifier and a packet priority table which user requests are reflected into. The paper also reports results obtained from a prototype implementation. |
