Abstract(in English) This paper presents a system design of interactive multimedia service for household use. Proposed system configuration and network design make it possible to utilize network resources efficiently. A design for audio conference application can optimize the number of application processes started so that users don't feel unpleasant in network gaming. These are studied in a methodology that VCs(Virtual Channels) are set up for each type of transferred data in ATM network based on communication features of various service applications. The designed models are evaluated by the data obtained from an actual experimental system.
