Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Regarding the interactivity and real time feature in a Distributed Virtual Environment (DVE), time lag is one of the most significant issues. This is because the synchronization is hardly preformed in this situation. When synchronization is not performed, it may be difficult to guarantee simultaneity and the consistency among the distributed media. In this report, we propose the communication environment that utilizes token ring type of network with the aim of synchronization among the host computers. In addition, we study the online examination application as an example for actual synchronized multi-user communication application.
