| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,遅延のある分散仮想環境(DVE)における,相手アバタ(仮想空間における利用者の分身)の状態予測機能について検討する.はじめに,ネットワークを介して複数の利用者が参加するDVEにおける,遅延による対話品質の劣化について考察する.具体的には,DVE上の協調型タスクにおいて,予測機能の有無によるパフォーマンス劣化の比較を行う.次に,予測機能が付加されたDVE上のヒューマンファクタについて考察する.具体的には,予測機能の有無による「慣れ」の影響を考察する.最後に予測機能の現実的な応用事例として,レーシングゲーム環境を試作する. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper studies the effect of function which predicts the state of remotely controlled avatar (virtual body) in the DVE (Distributed Virtual Environment) with lag. Firstly, the influence of degradation on quality of real-time interactivity is examined upon the existence of lag in the DVE shared by several avatars representing remote users on the network. A simple collaborative task is employed to compare the task performance degradation between the cases with prediction and without it. Secondly, human factors of a prediction supported collaborative task in the DVE is studied. The influence of experiences is compared between the cases with prediction and without it. Finally, as an example of actual application, the racing game environment is established for the evaluation. |
