Recognition of numerals written by fingertip in space of three dimensions

Abstract(in English) This paper describes the recognition of the sign and the numeral written by a fingertip. The pointing device of Sensable Technology Ltd. was used to collect the data of the sign and the numeral. Using this three dimension-pointing device, three dimension coordinates value data of x, y. and z can be collected at 10ms intervals. The author tried first to input and to recognize an easy signs like the circle and the check mark. Next, they set a virtual plane in the space three dimensions and the numeral because of recognition on that was written by the fingertip. The DP matching method was used for the numerals recognition.
