Abstract(in English) We propose a method to create 3-D CG avatars with exaggerated characters based on his feature. In this paper, we describe methods of extracting features from images of front and side faces automatically, constructing 3-D models of facial parts and controlling surfaces of 3-D CG faces. At first we get 3-D coordinates of feature points from facial images, next we create a base face model by using primitive models. We create a new face model which has detailed surfaces by controlling shapes of a base model with NURBS surfaces. We aim making a creating system of user's favorite 3-D CG avatars with exaggerated characters based on his features.
