A study on the Integration Method of the Multi-view Range Data

Abstract(in English) A method is investigated to build a large-scale environment with a higher quality by using 3D-Scanner. In this presentation, characteristics of the range-data obtained by the use of a 3D-Scanner is reported and filtering for noise reduction is discussed. Then we propose the new method of depth-edge detection, registration, integration, and meshnization. In this registration step the two approaches are verified:Edge-based ICP Two-step registration and Multi-scale Direct-Search Two-step Registration.
