Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Precedent studies suggests that color has parcel effect on steropsis. But these studies used equiluminant stimulus that might not exactly be isoluminant. We developped the method called "depth nulling paradigm" using the novel stimuli 'dymamic random-phase stereogram stereogram(DRPS)' and directly compared the amount or color information with luminance information on stereopsis. The results show that the equivalent luminance contrast of red-green opponent color grating is 0.25. Further investigation with depth nulling paradigm will lead to illumination onto the interaction of color and luminance on stereopis that reveals the mechanism of it. |
