Keyword grouping and image feature extraction for two-way search between words and images

Abstract(in English) We have developed a method of deriving the relationship between sub-images and words from images with key words. Using this method, a process for a two-way search between words and unlabeled images is proposed. The process enables to realize both word retrieval by images and unalbeled image retrieval by words. Both grouping of words and image feature extraction are investigated for the search. Experiment shows that the word grouping is effective, and that the image feature extraction can reduce the number of features without decreasing precision rates.
