A QoS routing for efficient failure recovery

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a rerouting based method for fast fault recovery which are becoming important in carrier scale MPLS networks. The method features pre-computation of path candidates and using two path computing algorithms for the normal and the fault recovery time. This paper compares combinations of path computation algorithms using a network simulator in order to choose the best one. The simulation results reveal that load balancing for the normal time and pre-computing dispersed paths improve the fault recovery performance.
