| 抄録(和) | 本稿では, ネットワークサーバにおける負荷分散を目的としたミラーサーバの分散配置について, 特に信頼性の向上に焦点をあてて考察を行う.システムの信頼性とコストのトレードオフ等の問題点を考慮した上で, コストおよび遅延を制約条件とし, システムの信頼性を最大とすることを目的としたミラーサーバ配置最適化モデルを提案する.本モデルは, 様々な形態のネットワークトポロジーに対応が可能である.最適ミラーサーバ配置問題を0-1整数計画問題として定式化しており, 数値計算にあたっては, より現実に即した大規模なシステムにおける考察を行うため近似解法を用いる.本モデルを解くことにより, 最適なミラーサーバ配置を求め, ミラーサーバの分散配置による負荷分散および信頼性の向上に関する種々の問題について定量的な検討を行うことが本稿の目的である. |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we consider the optimal mirror allocation problems for the purpose of load balance in network servers. We focus on constructing high-reliability networks, and propose the optimal mirror allocation model such that the system reliability is maximized subject to costs and delays, in view of the trading-off relationship between the reliability and the cost. This optimization model is capable of dealing with various kinds of network topology. We formulate this optimization problem as a 0-1 integer programming in this model, and we use an approximate method for numerical analysis in order to analyze more large-scale systems. Our objective is to find the optimal mirror allocation by solving this model, and to show the general characteristics about the load balance and the improvement of the system reliability by distributed mirror allocation, quantitatively. |
