| 抄録(和) | インターネットの急速な普及に伴い, マルチメディア対応の広帯域ネットワークに対する需要が増している. そのため, 広帯域, 同報性, 耐災害性などの特徴をもつ衛星回線はその一躍を担うと期待される. しかし, 衛星回線上でのTCPによる通信性能は, その遅延時間の大きさのため制限される. これは, 再送が発生した場合に顕著となる. そこで, 本稿ではVSAT衛星通信システムを用いた, M.Mathis, J. Mhadaviらによって提案された再送方式の改良であるSelective Acknowledgment (SACK) オプション及びForward Acknowledgment (FACK) 輻輳制御アルゴリズムの性能評価について報告する. |
| 抄録(英) | Caused by the rapid popularization of the internet, there has been a great demand for the high-bandwidth net-work responded to the multimedia. The satellite network has the characteristics of high-bandwidth, multiple-sites transmission, and disaster-resistance. So it has been expected tb play an important role in the internet. However, the satellite network is limited it's communication performance with TCP due to it's large round trip time. This becomes evident when retransmission occurs. In this paper, we report the evaluation of SACK options and FACK congestion control algorithm with VSAT satellite communication systems. |
