Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed so far a method for constructing pseudo-3D space with low cost on WWW, based on scenic images such as those taken by a digital camera or a video camera. We call the method IBNRO (Image-Based Non-Rendering). In this paper, we propose an XML-based language for describing an IBNR scene. Using this language, we can define each scene in a highly independent manner from other scenes by describing several kinds of objects, such as the background image, an avatar, and stationary objects. We show the usage of functions of the language by showing several useful examples. We also show our design and implementation of a converter from the proposed language to dynamic HTML.
