Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes that Weighted fair Queuing(WFQ)is one of the effective queuing technique on fairness of quality for multipe UDP/TCP communications. This paper also evaluates TCP performance with guaranteed rate using WFQ and Resource Reservation Protocol(RSVP). The relationship among TCP traffic rate, reserved bandwidth and TCP throughput were analyzed. As a result, TCP traffic rate control, such as a packed-shaping function, should be needed to apply guaranteed rate technique to TCP communication.
